How does Revvi work?

MRV Bank issues this card and provides international Visa coverage for its cardholders. Revvi is well-known for being one of the most accessible credit cards, even with a low credit score. Like most subprime products, the card comes with specific fees that might seem a little steep.

Its annual fee is $75 for the first year of card membership, then $48 after the second year. It requires an $89 activation fee and has a fixed APR of 34.99% for purchases. Revvi doesn’t have a monthly fee in its first year, but for every year after that, there’s a $6.25 charge if you decide to keep the card.

The starting credit limit is $300, but the annual fee is deducted from it in its first month, leaving you with a $225 limit until you pay off the charge. To request the card, you must have a FICO score of at least 550 and meet other criteria like no tax liens or recent derogatory items.

The Revvi card is one of the few products designed for people with bad credit that provides a cash back reward. You can earn up to 1% on all credit card payments and redeem them after 6 months of card use. The redemption options are statement credits in 500 points or $5.
