Huntington Bank Voice Rewards credit card earns 3x points on the first $2,000 spent in one of ten categories offered by the issuer. Cardholders can choose which category to adhere to for the quarter. After every quarter they must swap out categories..

The card is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility and who want to be able to choose between categories. Huntington Bank’s clients have access to a number of different categories to choose from such as the restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, travel and entertainment, home improvement stores, and much more.

One big downside of this card is its availability. This card is only available in IN, KY, MI, OH, PA, IL, WV and WI. However, customers are covered by 24-hour assistance in case an emergency credit card replacement or cash advance turns up.

Have a look at some key numbers about this card.

How does Huntington Bank Voice Rewards credit card work?

With this credit card, categories rotate quarterly. Since most categories are related to convenient everyday expenses, you will always have options which fit in your spending routine.

The categories have a set date to become available, and after a quarter they become ineligible for rewards. You will have to keep track of them because you can not access them on demand. It’s also worth pointing out that this card charges no annual fees in spite of all the benefits.

Keep an eye open for the difference between the two “Voice” brand credit cards. While one offers rewards, the other doesn’t. Their fundamental difference, however, is the interest rate. While the non-rewards card offers a 13.49% APR, the Voice Rewards credit card will charge you 27.49% if you carry a balance.
